On a pretty Indian summer Saturday, we set forth for Warwickshire. First stop: Warwick -- a pretty little town lined with Tudor homes.

The biggest attraction in Warwick was the castle and the queues of people lined up to pay the £18 admission fee was out of this world.

We stopped for lunch along the River Avon.

We meandered with the river to Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of Shakespeare.

It was apparent, at least for us, that old habits take awhile to break. We went for a mild run on Sunday.
