organize vs. organise

I had a bit of lie in this morning to fight off a cold starting to take shape (arghh!). It’s even making me contemplate on whether I should attend Tom’s 30th birthday party tomorrow night in Oxford. I want to be 100% healthy for our trip next week and, I might as well add to my wish list, glorious sunshine the entire time while we’re there (yeah, right! I haven't been a non-Vancouverite long enough to realize that I'm just fantasizing).

Update: I just checked the forecast for Vancouver! Rain fall warning! What's up with that! Think pleasant thoughts everyone (and throw in a sun dance for good measure) - please!!!

Starting to empty our fridge... I made a yogurt cake for my seminar group yesterday. A sure fire way to make people like me ;) Right, Paul?

We’re starting think about getting our bags ready for our trip. We’re experts at being minimalists because on our usual trips, we don’t like lugging excess things on our backs. For this trip, we’ll be wheeling suitcases (a novelty for us already!) and only carrying the necessities - a few clothing items, some gifts, a pair of wellies (however, with the current forecast, I might have to keep these for myself ;)...

The hard part is right now envisioning the layout (i.e. storaging capacity) of our suitcases at the end of our trip, as I already have purchased items (currently being stored in Vancouver) and have long list of things to buy.

It's only one hand now... Five days to go!
