eight hours

We were surprised to learn that we were heading into daylight savings hours this weekend. Not too sure why were so unbelieving of this fact, which prompted us to do some further investigation -- we just assumed that our time change didn’t correspond so closely to our North American neighbours. So we’re back to the 8 hour time difference that we’ve gotten so familiar with.

Today we’re having a quiet day at home -- adjusting to the time change and the aftermath of Tom’s party and finishing off our Canadian income tax forms. The time change couldn’t have happened a worse time -- we didn’t need to add another hour to our 2 hour drive home from Oxford. My job of not falling asleep and to remain my chatty self during the trip home was not at all successful as I continuously nodded off and dreamt that I was carrying the conversation…
