Today, I’m an attendee at the University of Leicester. You must be thinking, whoa, what happened?
I’m taking a qualitative research methods module there and this will count as credits towards my degree. It's an extensive six hour course (terribly difficult to stay awake in the afternoon) and there’s five more of these classes to go! And since I’m not officially a student at this uni, I don’t have access to a computer there (and more importantly, no access to the internet! Yikes!).
I rushed home from the train station to eagerly check my email (11! Yes, there are people who love me or more accurately, I'm on the ScHARR mailing list!) before preparing dinner. Then I enjoyed a nice pasta dinner with my husband and my laptop. I’m becoming quite proficient eating AND checking my email whenever the bell chimes indicating new mail in my inbox. This is such a common occurrence, that the complaints across the table are becoming less frequent…
