Bits and pieces

-Living in the UK and being ‘surrounded’ by the literary greats such as Shakespeare and the Brontes, I have started to read on the train. I’m currently enjoying Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice.
-For the fifth time, after meeting with my research supervisors, my primary action is to think.
-I think this cartoon strip totally sums up research funding in the UK (and postgraduate research in general):

-In lieu of a gym membership, I have started to run three times a week, albeit slowly.
-Finally, bigger does not mean better! Our quest for good tv reception with rabbit ears continues. (Beside the antenna is a 2 inch candle holder for a frame of reference)
