- today's the 1st of February
- it's snowing right now
- we've watched two Academy nominated movies in one weekend
- I'm nearly finished my vest (just need to block it).

Way to go! You've survived 2 years in a foreign land and (as far as I can tell) are loving it! I've also got to congratulate you on the thesis. I would probably be freaking out at the mere mention of the word.
