While we're not suffering from the early spring-forward most of you are experiencing, the days are surprisingly quite long already. Not sure if it's due to the fact that it is the most north I have ever lived (Wait, that's not true. Edmonton is a couple of degrees further north).
I'm working from home again today (I emphasize the exaggeration of my use of the word 'working'). I've searched on the internet all morning, looking at all the online catalogues of my favourite Vancouver shops but I'm sure some of you know, as I've forwarded links to my favourite items - it's too bad my birthday is not any sooner :)
I literally had to force myself outside today for a bit of a run through Darley Abbey park because I've gotten myself into the habit of not leaving the house for days. It is starting to get a bit more pleasant to go for a run as beautiful colours are sprouting through the earth. Today was a bit more of an expedition, though... I had to expertly navigate myself to avoid colliding with people walking their dogs (I have to say 'expertly' because I have sprained my ankle performing this task in the past). I'm always AMAZED at the human to dog ratio when I'm out for a run - mostly because the ratio yields in favour to the dogs. Today I saw an elderly couple walking 5 dogs and another group of three people walking 7 dogs!
15 days to go!
