under the weather

It's hard to believe that today, the 2nd of November, is our 2nd anniversary of living in the UK.

We have an uneventful weekend planned. Mostly because I'm fighting off a cold that's starting to take over my body. With the end of the year rapidly approaching, it's not surprising the cold season has hit the household but, thankfully, it is after the departure of our house guest.

I'm lazing on the couch with a blanket wrapped over me and working on a pair of knitted socks (for myself!). The only thing that I'm accomplishing today -- other than finishing the toe of my sock -- is a batch of granola. The thesis will have to wait until tomorrow.

Also, there probably will be a lack of photos posted here for a while because our camera is out of commission -- may it rest in peace.
