I'm already looking forward to the fragrant aromas to get my creative juices flowing while I work at the dining table. And to all the flavourful cooking in the near future!
From the photo, you may be able to see that we have new terra cotta planter pots in our backyard. I'm sure that you can't see that the pots are filled with pretty things (marigolds and impatiens) and soon-to-be yummy things (beans and squash). We were a bit embarrassed by the emptiness of our yard when compared to the cherub-decorated yard two doors down and the show home's shrubbery garden to our right. Normally, greenery is well-appreciated in any garden, but for our yard, being entirely gravel, green things mean nothing but good. Hopefully, our spending two Sundays weeding will be well rewarded!
