I've planned to have two work-from-home days per week to cut down on all the train costs to and from Sheffield. Friday, by default, will be one of the days as taking the trains on the start of the weekend tends to be a gong show. I'm supposed to be working on my research proposal but because my current work space looks like this - I am very unproductive (can you blame me?).
I decided to go for a walk into town to do some errands and clear my head in the process. I can't believe that we've been here for 1-day shy of a month.
Christmas is definitely in the air in the town of Derby:
Seeing all the Christmas decorations and lights definitely makes me a bit sad and lonely for all my friends and family :( Remember to keep me posted on your lives!
