-visiting Castleton in the Peak District, which included walking to Peveril Castle (three down and 397 more to go!) and checking out the local caves to see the rare Blue John stones (more pictures posted on flickr)
-watching The Full Monty - thanks Mary! and no, I didn’t recognise any of the Sheffield’s sights
-a morning run (an attempt to get 2007 off on the right foot!) followed by a traditional English breakfast (a vegetarian version for me with Quorn (?) sausages and beans)
-catching up on 7-months of scrapbooking
-now trying to stay up to midnight; however I’d probably have more luck getting up before 8am tomorrow (Pacific time New Year’s Eve)
